Established to act to advise the Board of Commissioners on implementation and future funding, from the 1/10 of 1 percent sales tax authorized by RCW 82.14.460. There are openings for representatives of an At-large position and of a private provider of chemical dependency services not contracting for funding.


Per RCW 41.14.030, at the time of appointment, not more than two commissioners shall be adherents of the same political party. Applicant must be a US citizen residing in Clallam County for two or more years who does not hold any salaried public office or work for the County. There is an opening for an Independent member.
